Jack Dwarf was a good son, who would help his dad at home with chores and cutting down firewood for the family business. Every evening he told his parents he was meeting his girlfriend but secretly performed ballet with the Wing faeries. I was invited to see one of his performances and sat next to his girlfriend. For a chubby dwarf, he amazed the audience with his grace and charm. We both enjoyed Jack’s spectacular performance!

Faeries' kids of the Enchanted Mushroom

Once upon a time there was a town called the Enchanted Mushroom, named as such for several miles of land with abundant mushrooms.

These mushrooms come in different colors, patterns, shapes and glitters. The glitters shine spectacular colors when the sun shines directly on them. At night, under the moonlight, the mushrooms seem to change into other shades of colors.

Furthermore, the mushrooms can be an inch tall or a hundred feet tall. The mature mushrooms that are over 10 years old have wide stubs and large mushroom crowns. Faeries build their homes on top of these large mushrooms that grow abundantly in this town.

The Enchanted Mushroom is home to the good little faeries. Humans or bad faeries are never to be seen here, hence, faeries can live in peace and harmony, dancing, playing, singing, and playing musical instruments. These faeries like to wear bright color apparel to reflect their joyous and free spirits.

Pixies and I was having fun skipping around when suddenly a little glitter dog faery flew right past us. The Pixies were trying to catch this faery as I joined in the fun.  I was running as fast as I could.  I was within a few inches of catching it, but the Glitter dog faery turned, twisted, and twirled around so quickly that no one could catch it.  I kept missing him by inches every time.  I thought the Pixies were encouraging me with loud yells as I was pursued this glitter dog faery. Suddenly my body stiffened, my face turned blue, and I dropped to the ground unconscious.  Seconds later I woke up and realized that the pixies have dragged me almost 25 feet from where I fell.  There was nothing living around me except the fungus growing a hollow tree.  Suddenly a head emerged out of the hollow tree.  We must have startled this creature.  I was distracted by something moving and kicking in my knapsack, so I unzipped my knapsack and saw the glitter dog faery.  It must have been unconscious too from the foul smell around us.  We decided to set the glitter dog faery free since we had our fun. The glitter ball faery followed us around and hidden behind a tree several yards away from us, so we did not notice little dog faery. We decided to rest on a large mushroom nearby when a stick came flying through the air and struck a pixie on the head.  Furious, the pixie threw stick back in the direction from which it came.  Moments later, the stick was thrown right back at us. I took the stick and threw it in the opposite direction.  Swoosh! I saw the glitter dog faery chasing after the stick in the direction where I have thrown it.   Again, another stick was thrown to us. I knew then that the glitter dog faery want to play catch, so I just kept throwing the stick in every direction for him to fetch. Still he hid behind the tree several yards away from us.  Soon, it was getting dark and we decided to get some sleep. Next morning, I woke up to the sound of a snoring glitter faery, sound  asleep on my chest, and snug  under my blanket!

Hunters trap faun and satyr because they can get a good sum of money for their horns. Hunter Jim decided to stay behind to rest while his friends departed for their hunt early one morning. Jim examined the horns from his hunt the other day, placing a horn on each of his temple for fun, when suddenly the horn became permanently affixed and he was unable to pull them off. He heard gunshots coming in his direction, and realized his friends were hunting him, as he had transformed into a satyr. Hunter Jim dashed away and was never to be seen again.

I always remembered the story about Kobuka and his beautiful music. He spend his life in the forest and nature becomes full bloom when he starts to play the music. One day, he got lost due to a bad weather of heavy rain and strong wind to visit his friend. On his path, was a farmer’s wife gathers her three skinny cows into the barn. Farmer’s wife noticed poor individual was lost and asked if he wanted to stay in the shack until the rain and wind stop. Farmer’s wife insisted that he stay in warm and dry in the shack. Middle of the night, as darkness as can be. Music can be heard playing by Kobuka in the shack. A farmer’s wife one hand on an oil lantern and under her arm is a warm clean mohair blanket. The hand is a tray of hot oat meal and corn bread. Not much left for what they can grow in their farmer’ land. There wasn’t enough grass for the three cows and corn for the 5 chickens. Stuff like that considered a bad omen since the farmers brought the land. Kobuka has disappeared before the dawn. To the amazed, the crops grow to fullest and bad omen has disappeared. Farmers didn’t know who the poor individual was but heard of folklore about it. The rain did cause the crop to grow but his gentle smooth music.
